RhoGallery – The Enterprise App Store

In this webinar we introduced RhoGallery. RhoGallery lets you manage collections of apps (whether or not they are Rhodes apps) as “galleries” which you can then invite users and groups of users to. Users then automatically have the appropriate apps downloaded to their device. New apps and updates are pushed to users and you can deprovision them as well. RhoGallery is the first hosted mobile app management solution.

RhoGallery Provides:

• Administrator management of exposed apps to end users
• Central user launching of exposed apps from “enterprise sandbox” on each device
• Automatic provisioning of appropriate apps for end users
• Deprovision (“wipe”) of enterprise apps and data if device is stolen or user is terminated

Unlike other mobile management solutions RhoGallery focuses just on managing the apps and data used by enterprise users. It does not try to perform full device management. This makes the solution easier to use and cheaper to operate. In a Bring Your Own Device World device management is dead. Long live hosted app management.


Getting Started

• Sign up for a RhoHub account
• Within RhoHub, create a new Gallery and an application
• Upload build files, link to external builds, or add existing RhoHub builds to your application
• Invite consumers to the gallery. They will automatically receive an email or SMS with credentials to use the RhoGallery Mobile application and access the gallery
